On December 30, 2022, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus adopted Resolution No. 967 “On establishing the size of the base value”. Accordingly, as of January 1, 2023, the base value in Belarus has increased from 32 to 37 Belarusian rubles. Along with the increase of the base value, the rates of patent fees charged for actions related to the registration and maintenance/renewal of intellectual property types have also increased accordingly.
