The Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) has announced an increase in its official fees, which will take effect on February 1, 2026. The new fee schedule will apply to actions related to Eurasian patent applications for inventions and industrial designs.

The increase will affect both standard fees for the filing, examination, and grant of patents, as well as other fees, including those for amendments, restoration of rights, and deadline extensions. For example, the unified procedural fee for filing a Eurasian patent application for an invention will increase from RUB 60,000 in 2025 to RUB 70,000 in 2026.

According to the EAPO, the changes are intended to reflect current economic conditions and administrative costs. The new fees will apply to all applicants.
